Self Test

Do your physicians know how to identify (and pacify) the patients who are most likely to sue?

Do your physicians know the three things that are most likely to result in a lawsuit?

Do your physicians know the first thing they should do when a patient has had a bad outcome or there has been a significant complication?

Do your physicians know what to say to a patient or the family of a patient when a significant complication occurs?

Can your group transfer a patient’s care who has filed a lawsuit against one of your physicians?

If you do not know how to answer these questions then there is a significant likelihood that your group is not maximizing its medical malpractice avoidance strategies and is not reducing its potential exposure.
